Books that took me to the beyond.

I have read shelves of books on philosophy, psychology, anthropology, as well as most of the famous classics during my 15 years at University. Books written by Patrick White, Dostoevsky, Victor Hugo, Hermann Hesse, Kundera, Eco, Camus, and John Fowles were my favourites. These books spiced up my existence and developed my love for words. Learning classical Greek and modern French influenced my appreciation of the depths of the meanings of words.
Words and their meanings open new vistas, new ways of thinking and seeing which leads to a new way of being in this world. Words also interact with each other to portray ideas that are actually not written there. This taught me to read between the lines, or in other words, to read with my heart and not with my mind. Most books that have a 'subtext' are written by authors who were only scribes. ISee my article on Art and the Beyond). To me the real authors have the ability to put their own ideas on the backburner whilst the creative spirit prepares the main meal on the main fire. These types of books nurture souls. The real author's personality cannot be derived from his books. I have read all of Dostoevskys books and can still not say who he is. I have read all of Dostoevsky's books and can still not say who he is. These books take you out of this reality into the Beyond because it was written from, or by, the Beyond.
One of the books that literally was written from the Beyond was 'Disappearance of the Universe' (DU) by Gary Renard. He was a rock band player, not interested in any spiritual hocus pocus and oblivious of the 'Beyond'. One day, when he was alone in his room, two 'people' appeared to him. They visited him 17 times over a period of 9 years. He recorded their conversations as he could not remember everything. I have given you thus far an idea of how much and how wide I have read. But, out of all the books I have read, this single book overturned the tables of my holy temple of 'superior' thoughts and I fell flat on my face.
In order to see the 'Beyond' that these two people discussed, I had to change my views on reality, the universe, Jesus, the ego and life. I must admit that reading the Celestine Prophecy and the Conversation with God series of books buffered the fall. I recommend that you start with these books if the following review sounds too foreign to you.
In a nutshell DU is a 'popular summary' of the essential points in the Course in Miracles. The essence is that we live in an illusion created by the Ego whilst we are actually still in the Oneness with God. In fact, God does not even know that we are here because if he does, he will be dual and, by definition, he cannot be God. God is the One and All. The purpose of life is to get out of this illusion and back into the Oneness. Jesus has shown us how through forgiving you annul all projections of yourself onto others. In the process you forgive yourself for thinking that you are separate from God which you never are. It is important that you realise that you live in this 'reality' and in the 'illusion' simultaneously. This means that you live in time illusion and out of time the Beyond simultaneously.
The ego wants you to only live in time, in this illusion, and therefore you keep on repeating lives and this process is called 'reincarnation'. Over the course of centuries humans became so brainwashed that they actually regard time as real and this illusion as an absolute reality. This illusion includes the ego, personality, individuality and it is developed and maintained by consciousness.' Exploring the Beyond and living the Oneness with God is the only way to get out of this illusionary cycle.
This is nothing new as I realised in the reading of ''The Tao of 'Physics' by Fritjof Capra. He shows the parallels between Tau philosophy of two thousand years ago and the concepts in quantum physics today. The best account of modern quantum physics is in 'The Field' by Lynne McTaggart. This is a book about discoveries that any logical and scientific approach cannot explain. In fact, it proves that the scientific approach is an illusion in itself as explained through the double slit experiment. The new approach includes the researcher as the creator of the results. The results are just a few manifestations out of millions of possibilities. The researcher merely collapses the wave of possibilities into particles which creates the reality as we observe it. The wave, or the quantum field, the source, Being, or God has a direct link in the human mind in the form of Awareness.
This approach changed the whole 'scientific' scene and gave birth to new directions and discoveries. The holographic Universe, epigenetics, astounding technology and a growing awareness of the Beyond are a few of the new directions. In the past 10 years the 'spiritual movement' was taken over by the Awareness movement, as I call it. This movement is evident in websites like the Wes Pendre Papers and the Infinite Quantum Zen website. Movies like Avatar, Inception and videos like 'The Holographic Universe'' and ''Solar Revolution' showcase the change in approach to studying consciousness. It is also revealed in an audio book 'Butterflies are free to fly' by Stephen Davis. Two other books that huge influence on my thinking was Biology of Belief Bruce H. Lipton and 'The biology of emotion by Prof. C Pert.
